DOMAINS
STATIC AND DYNAMIC ROBOT ACCURACY
Use CTrack to evaluate the static and dynamic accuracy of a robot. The tool can be tracked in 6 degrees of freedom.
MEASURING COLLABORATING ROBOTS
The tracking of multiple rigid bodies simultaneously allows for measuring collaborating robots.
ROBOT CALIBRATION
Another use of the software is acquiring poses, which in combination with robotic calibration software, can be used to calibrate the robot. Finally, CTrack makes it possible to feed the actual position of the robot tool back into the controller, which enable corrections on the fly or even guided assembly applications.
ROBOT AND TOOL ALIGNMENT
The extended alignment capabilities of CTrack allow for aligning the robot and the tool using geometric measurements. This way, CTrack is the ideal tool for robotic manufacturers and developers, for robotic applications in the medical sector, for example.
MEDICAL ROBOT APPLICATIONS
Effectively integrating robotics into medical procedures requires technicians to accurately and consistently know the location of the end point of a robot end-effector. Relying on the internal sensors of the robot does not provide sufficient accuracy for use in dynamic medical procedures.
CTrack helps in increasing the positional accuracy of robots in medical applications. By tracking robot arms, the accuracy of these dynamic systems is improved considerably in a straightforward and cost-effective way. This is achieved by continuously measuring the exact location and orientation of the robot end-effector, and applying Ctrack’s closed-loop feedback capabilities to adjust the robot motion during the process.
